I am planning my first trip to Italy. Seeing that I will be traveling alone, I have decided to do a group tour. Are the day trip destination prices included in the package? The costs I am referring to are trips to museums and other entertainment. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated?

Typically, when you tour as a single, you are charged a supplement on top of the regular tour rate to have your own room. Some operators, such as Cosmos tours, do offer you the option to share with a fellow traveler which saves a considerable amount of money, however these tours usually do not in include as many meals or sightseeing in the price.

This year for the first time, Globus tours is waiving the single supplement on select tours traveling November through April. With these packages you have better hotels, and more sightseeing included in the rate.  For Italy there are 3 tours you can choose from:
